Tomorrow night at their Boulder location, Outdoor Divas is hosting a free gear panel and punch session. They'll have K2 ladies alliance member Lindsey Yaw, Babes in the Backcountry founder Leslie Ross, Heather Paul of K2 Ultimate Groove Tele camps, and Krista Crabtree of SheSkis on hand to answer your questions. You can email those ahead of time to info@outdoordivas.com.

Outdoor Divas is a women's outdoor sports gear and clothing store. In addition to the Boulder location, they've got a store in Cherry Creek. Besides gear, the panel discussion will address the Pink Chase breast cancer awareness fundraiser, which is run by K2.

How much of this is about educating Colorado's women to ensure they get the most out of the great outdoors and how much is an attempt to get people like us to write about Outdoor Divas and K2 is an open question. Again, there's free punch, so that's good enough for us. Details:

When: Wednesday, November 11 at 7pm. Where: Outdoor Divas, 1133 Pearl Street, Boulder Who: Outdoor Divas, K2, Babes in the Backcountry, SheSkis

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
