Name: Gillian Kumm.

Spotted at: 13th and Broadway.

Profession: Guest service concierge at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. I also go to MSU Denver and am majoring in English writing with a minor in studio art.

Favorite film: Pulp Fiction and Death Proof.

2013 jam: Alt-J's whole album An Awesome Wave is good. All their songs are different and defy genres.

Style inspirations/icons: My mom and my older sister have good style. The women in my family have classic style, and my sister and I add our own spin on it. I always remember to have simple basics before getting an outfit cluttered.

Favorite color: Purple.

Favorite accessory: I always have my watch. I still like watches even though I have my phone to tell me the time. I also always have a bandana with me, too; they're handy and can can be used for several things.

Style mantra: Walk tall, and carry a bandana.

Shops at: I've been to Rainbow and Forever 21 because sometimes it's a struggle to find good clothes on a fair budget. H&M and Charlotte Russe are good sometimes, too. I get shoes from thrift stores.

Here, Kumm shows us her zebra-printed manicure, rings, bracelets and the Fossil watch that her mother gave her. "Lessons Learned" is one of Kumm's tattoos, or permanent accessories. "Denver style has influenced me because people dress for comfort here and are relaxed," she says. "I have adopted some of that, and it shows up externally in my fashion." This T-Rex on Kumn's leg is modeled on the one near the entrance at the Museum of Nature and Science.

This brown leather bag is what Kumm uses for her day's journey. Inside, she keeps multiple journals and notebooks, a water bottle, a skull-printed scarf, a fan, and a compact mirror. Style analysis: While many individuals take fashion cues from celebrities, Kumm pays homage to the stylish woman in her family and injects her personality into the classics to create her look. Her favorite accessories have sentimental value, and her skirt is the same hue as her favorite color. The skirt and tank combo represents Denver's laidback style, yet Kumm customizes it to suit her personality.
