Why, yes, you bet your sweet trick-or-treat it is -- and the proof is in the ridiculous amount of talent that's landing on the city this weekend, including Pete Bones, Beats Antique and Paco Osuna, among others. Whatever costume you have picked out, hopefully you can move in it, because it's going to be hard to keep still with the beats blowing out the speakers. Pete Bones (aka the Shaker) has more than earned his nickname; this DJ/producer has been upheaving dance floors since he turned his residency at the Hand & Spear in Surrey, England, into a legendary party night back in 1990. Since that time, he's gained worldwide acclaim with his own releases, as well as producing and remixing dozens of global hits and then reinventing his sound with Red Ant Records in 1998. Throughout the twenty-year-plus span of Bones's career, his skills have only gotten sharper -- a testament to his impeccable taste and sense of timing. This is complex, layered house music, full of smooth, funky bass lines and hip-shaking beats, that will ensnare even the most devoted technophiles before they realize what's happened to them. Denver will host two dates with this longtime legend this weekend -- one tonight at the Appaloosa Grill, and one at the Funky Buddha on Saturday, October 27.

The longtime favorite DJ Micro takes over the Church tonight for some trick-or-treating enjoyment; Ascension, J-Rose, Freddie J and Dyfective will help keep things sweet (or scary). (9 p.m., 18+, $10-$25)
Blackasteroid visits Norad this evening for an experimental power-techno extravaganza; the heavyweight will be preceded by DJ Narcotek on the decks, and it's bound to be a long night of floor-pounding beats. Upstairs, DJ Ink brings the bass alongside the Death By Bacon and Recon crews. (9 p.m., 21+, $10)
At Beta tonight, the main floor is bass-heavy with the Rage by the Pound Tour, featuring Funtcase, Bare Noize, Schoolboy and Nerd Rage; Thorazine will open things up. In the Beatport Lounge, Danny Marin (happy birthday!), Sergei Loginov and John Phelps will cater to underground technophiles. (9 p.m., 18+, $5-$20)
What better time than Halloween for Beats Antique to return to Denver? If bellydancing and glitch-inspired tunes are your thing, then get thee to the Fillmore on Saturday night for an eyeful of Zoe Jakes and an earful of her musical companions; Zion I, Minnesota and Lynx help round out the evening. (7 p.m., all ages, $27.50-$40)
Paco Osuna headlines Norad on Saturday night; the dancefloor king has come out all the way from Spain to rock the house, and Bones, Greg Eversoul and Nutelli (Nutmeg and Tony Rodelli) will help him keep things shaking. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 and up)
TheHundred presents Todd Edwards on Saturday night at Beauty Bar; the legendary house/garage producer/DJ will no doubt raise the rafters of this 13th Street mainstay. Option4, Vanish, Werq and Fun Factory are also on deck. (9 p.m., 21+, $6)
Bass-lovers might consider heading up to Boulder's Fox Theatre on Saturday night for MartyParty's carefully built (and ridiculously released) set, and Project Aspect will warm things up for the superstar. (8:30 p.m., all ages, $16-$20)
Hanson's Grill & Tavern hosts a Skelebration on Saturday night with DJs Brick Lee and Big White spinning dancing tunes for your dancing pleasure; dress up and get down. (10 p.m., 21+)
Easy Killer hosts a Halloween party at Apex Movement in Boulder on Saturday night; David Last, Ejay, Khalib and Ivy provide the tunes for your costumed all-night dancing delight -- the party goes till 5 a.m. (11 p.m., 21+, $15, $10 for Scorpios)
Under-21 electronic music aficionados won't find a better place to lose their minds than on the dancefloor than City Hall on Saturday night; the second-annual Nightmare party caters specifically to the under-21 crowd. DJs Tanastadi, Trak Trix, Contempo and Caprice Klassic will provide the tunes. (7 p.m., all ages under 21, $10-$20)
Head to Beta on Saturday night for a Superheroes and Villains party with Dragon, Jontron, Cognition + T-Rav and Sergio Santana. (9 p.m., 18+, $10)
