Probably one of the only things in punk that's lasted as long and remained as perennially as popular as NOFX is the mohawk. And while it's obvioiusly no where near as radical as it was in the Reagan era, it's still an eye-grabbing representation of the counter-culture that once was. We spotted a ton of dudes rocking the old spikes last night at the NOFX show at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver. Some were merely semi-committed with weekend mini-mounds, some were eerily Travis Bickle like and others still were sporting full-on liberty spikes.
