Best part about living in the Mile High City? Well, aside from the music, the breathtaking beauty, the four seasons and three hundred or so days of sunshine, that is? Easy: The seemingly undying benevolence of the people who live here.

We take care of our own.

There's generally no hesitation when it comes to pitching in to help our neighbors when they're in need (see Fourmile Canyon benefit for a recent display of such selfless acts of kindness). That in mind, another member of our music community could use a hand.

A few weeks ago, Adam Lancaster (Morning After Records, Curious Yellow, Awol Presents) took a spill on his bike, chipping his teeth and breaking his jaw in two places. Like most musician types, he's without insurance and the bills are starting to pile up.

In an effort to ease some of the financial burden he's incurred, Lancaster and some of his friends are hosting a poker tournament tonight at the hi-dive. If you're interested in playing and want more details, feel free to reach out to Adam directly. Space is limited.
