Near the end of last year, Lizard's Bar & Grill at 1920 Blake Street closed after a short run. Mike Hayter and his business partner Mike Refling moved to town from Bozeman, Montana, and took over the space at the beginning of August. Dubbed Hayter's, the new spot will be a sports bar with photos from the days of Babe Ruth and Willie Mays adding a throwback feel. Hayter says it will be a sports by day and early evening, but once the games are over, the plan is to get DJs in there. Hayter says they're looking to be open within the next few weeks.
