Colorado is a swing state, apparently. Our vote will be key in helping decide who the next leader of the free world is. It's all up to us and some people from Ohio -- oh, and our, uh, meemaw in south Florida, evidently. Who knew, right? We only know this, of course, because we watch the Daily Show. Well, that, and the fact that Romney and Obama practically live here these days. That kind of tipped us off. If you haven't heard, the former's throwing a big party tonight at Red Rocks with Kid Rock and Rodney Atkins, and the latter's due back here some time this week.

Oh, and, as if you needed any more evidence that our state is a political hotspot, the Rock the Vote Road Trip is making its way out to the Centennial State for two stops. The first one is this Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. on the Auraria Campus at Tivoli Commons with Raekwon and DJ Largechild. And then on Monday, the Road Trip heads up to CSU at the Lory Student Center with Theophilus London in tow. RSVP and volunteer at RockTheVote.com.
