Tonight, dig into the Grub Party & Panel, a "multi-media soulfood dinner and discussion on environmental justice, artist activism and the green economy" at the Blair Caldwell African American Research Library, 2410 Welton Street. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. (bring your own place setting), with the panel starting at 7 p.m.; speakers include Bryant Terry, author of The Vegan Soul Kitchen, and Afya Ibomu, author of Vegan Soulfood Guide to the Galaxy. Up in Broomfield, the Aloft Hotel, which just opened at 8300 Arista Place, will host the Aloft Wxyz tWist Off Party at 5 p.m. May 1.
