On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society's favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers' winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Slider Shack 303 will be revving up there, grilling up its fresh ground Angus beef sliders.

The sliders are cooked with shaved onions and served on a toasted butter roll garnished with lettuce, avocado and cilantro aioli and a spicy seven pepper relish.

"This is one of our most popular dishes, we came up with it in our test kitchen and like all of our dishes we wanted to go with something fresh that would make your taste buds dance," says chef Tim Barron. "The pepper relish has a little kick to it but it is rounded out by the smooth cool flavor of the avocado and cilantro aioli."

The truck will also be serving its best selling item: fresh-cut fries topped with sauteed, marinated mushrooms tossed in truffle oil, caramelized onions and a roasted garlic aioli.

DISH runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sunday 22. (VIP ticket-holders get in at noon.) For more information about Westword's annual celebration of the Denver dining scene, including how to buy tickets, visit our 2013 Westword DISH site.
