Dave Bravdica could be the first Denver street vendor to find a way to serve liquor to his faithful customers on a consistent basis, offering up a couple of brands of beer and Italian wines that they can guzzle on the patio he's commandeered near the D&F Tower. How is he doing it without a brick-and-mortar establishment?

"Lannie's is helping me out," he says with a wink, referring to Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, located in the lower level of 1601 Arapahoe Street. Lannie's has a liquor license that includes the fenced-off patio, and has agreed to sell beer and wine to anyone sitting within its confines.

And that makes it a great site for a lingering lunch.
