Charlie Sheen, who, as you may recall, recently unleashed "winning recipes" on www.funnyordie.com as part of his new cooking show -- a term we use loosely -- has a current ranking of 198, which puts him way, way below Jamie Oliver, who is hovering at a respectable ranking of 84. Chef and street food pioneer Roy Choi, who operates the Kogi food truck in Los Angeles, is sitting pretty at 115, while Nathan Myhrvold, the former Microsoft tycoon who recently unveiled the massive, six-volume geek cookbook, Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking, is holding on at 142. Grant Achatz, the exec chef/owner of Alinea and the owner of Next, both in Chicago, is pretty far down the list, at 187 (but still "winning" over Sheen!); White House chef Sam Kass is perched at 95; author and food journalist Mark Bittman is ranked 46 (that's higher than Matt Damon!); and chef René Redzepi, whose Copenhagen restaurant, Noma, was ballyhooed as the best restaurant in the world in the S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants rankings, is holding his own (barely) at 174.
