Happy Halloween! Here's a taste of restaurant parties that should be a real treat this evening -- and if you know of any other culinary events worthy of attention today, share the information in the comments section below: Centro Latin Kitchen & Refreshment Palace, 950 Pearl Street in Boulder, will host a superhero-themed Halloween party tonight with food and drink specials, and trick-or-treat giveaways. West End Tavern, 926 Pearl Street in Boulder, will become "Zombie Central" today with a whole-pig roast, drink specials and trick-or-treats. The haunted-themed event will also feature a screening of the latest Warren Miller movie. Call 303-444-3535 for more information.

Lala's Wine Bar + Pizzeria, 410 East Seventh Avenue, will present a Halloween-themed, five-course wine dinner tonight at 7 p.m. The meal will be followed by a 60-minute bus tour through Capitol Hill, with haunted mansion ghost stories. The event costs $75 and reservations are required; call 303-861-9463 to do so.
