Wine Spectator just presented Flagstaff House with the Grand Award -- it highest honor, given only to restaurants that demonstrate passion and commitment to their wine programs. And Flagstaff House definitely displays that passion, because it's won the same award every year since 1983.

Flagstaff House was recognized for its wide-selection of fine wines, 15,000-bottle wine cellar, presentation and excellent service. "We now have more than 3,000 selections, and have recently expanded our Burgundy, Bordeaux and Italian selections, which are outstanding," explains owner/general manager Scott Monette.

Wine Spectator gave the Grand Award to a total of 73 restaurants worldwide. You can find a list of the Grand Award winners, as well as a roster of all other award winners, in Wine Spectator's August 31 issue, which hits newsstands on July 23.
