After almost eight years of eating in Denver, writing about Denver and dragging Denver's gastronaut community along with me, willing or not, to every pho shop, sushi bar, French restaurant and African goat butcher I could bluff my way into, I've decided that it's time for me to step aside and let someone else have all the fun.

It's been a blast. More fun than a sack full of monkeys and liquor. But I've never been a guy who's good at staying in one place too long, so I've fixed my sights on a gig even further out there -- and have taken the restaurant critic's job at our sister paper, the Seattle Weekly.

But don't start celebrating just yet. I've got a couple of weeks left to kick around Denver and take some victory laps before pointing my nose west. And I plan on making the best possible use of them.

You can see the Seattle Weekly announcement here; keep reading Cafe Society for updates on the process of finding my replacement. And In the meantime, I'm looking for suggestions for the last Denver restaurant I should review. Post your answers below.
