No. 99 Alaskan reindeer sausage from Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs

You know you've got a winning wiener when people look you in the eye and confess, with complete seriousness, that their first and last stops to and from Denver International Airport begin and end with an Alaskan reindeer sausage from Biker Jim — aka Jim Pittenger — a former repo man who's been slinging Denver's best dogs for the past seven years from his polished stainless steel carts. All of Jim's sausages are creatures of beauty, but the Alaskan reindeer showboat (Jim, by the way, hails from Alaska) takes top dog for its mildly gamey flavor, woodsy earthiness and slightly spicy kick. Like all of his sausages, Jim splits it down the middle, sears on the grill and tucks it into a roll spiked with a shot of cream cheese and a dune of grilled onions soaked in Coca-Cola. Nirvana.
