A new Asian restaurant will soon replace an old Asian restaurant at 10440 East Arapahoe Road in Greenwood Village. Volcano, which is going into the space formerly occupied by Carlos Miguel's and the wanly-named Sushi Club, will feature a sushi bar, hibachi and "modern Chinese food," as well as a lounge.

Workmen on the scene predict it'll be a month or so before things are up and running, and from the looks of it, we wouldn't be surprised if it was longer, as the roomy interior appears to be undergoing an exhaustive remodeling. A manager did not return a call for comment, so no word on whether the bar will offer a flaming volcano bowl with your California roll.

Neighbors on the stark and starchy strip include Hoong's Palace, Dickey's Barbecue Pit and a million car dealerships.
