On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society's favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers' winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Sushi Sasa, our pick for Best Sushi Restaurant in the 2013 Best of Denver, will be providing its spicy tuna rolls.

"It is one example of how we at Sasa can make something this simple come alive," says executive chef/owner Wayne Conwell.

The roll, a standard on most sushi menus, is elevated to something special at Sushi Sasa. It's made with vinegar seasoned rice, nori seaweed, yellow fin tuna, Kewpie mayonnaise, masago caplin roe, Japanese seven spice powder, avocado, sesame seeds and wasabi.

DISH runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sunday 22. (VIP ticket-holders get in at noon -- but those tickets are sold out.) For more information about Westword's annual celebration of the Denver dining scene, including how to buy $35 general admission tickets, visit our 2013 Westword DISH site.
