Get a sweet treat this afternoon at the grand opening of 10 Flavors Frozen Yogurt. Owner Jetmir Zymeri decided to open a frozen yogurt shop after he realized that there weren't many healthy options for people who are lactose-intolerant. 10 Flavors, which is located at 4500 West 38th Avenue, uses Sweet 8 yogurt , a Colorado product that relies on fresh and organic ingredients. "I wanted people to be able to enjoy something delicious, that was Colorado-made and all organic," says Zymeri. "Highland was the perfect neighborhood for that concept."

Zymeri chose to only feature ten flavors, including classic fruits like mango, as well as cake-inspired yogurt flavors such as red velvet and yellow cake batter. Assorted juices and coffee are also available; the staff has been trained by the owner of Aviano in Cherry Creek.

Today's grand opening party starts at 4 p.m. and lasts until 10 p.m. Zymeri will be giving away gift cards and free 8 ounce-yogurts with a selection of eighteen toppings.
