First up is Capitol Hill between Sixth and Seventh avenues:

Benny's and Govnr's Park are the longtime anchors of Seventh Avenue, but over the past decade they've been joined by a host of sleek, stylish neighbors, including the revamped Racines, Lala's and three cuisine-hopping restaurants of star chef Frank Bonanno: Mizuna, Bones and Luca d'Italia. A block away, the parallel strip of Sixth Avenue has a parallel stretch of equally enticing eateries, from Table 6, Fruition and Barolo Grill to more casual spots, including Lime XS and Pho on 6th.

And now to Colfax, with the Bluebird District:

Colfax Avenue may be the longest main street in the country, but the few blocks that constitute the Bluebird District comprise quite an eye-opening culinary trip on their own. From the new home of the old Annie's Cafe to the Nuevo Mexican of Mezcal to the hipster hangout Atomic Cowboy (with its spinoff pizza and biscuit joints) to Tommy's Thai to the beloved Pete's Kitchen to dive bars, Greek bakeries, sandwich spots and Ethiopian joints, this is street food at its best.
