Monday, November 21:

The City of Aurora hosts a kids' cooking class, Holiday Candy Factory, for ages eight to twelve. It runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Expo Recreation Center, 10955 East Exposition Avenue in Aurora, and costs $35 to $46. Tuesday, November 22:

Wednesday, November 23:

The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar, 1401 Curtis Street, presents a Thanksgiving Eve '80s Party; proceeds will benefit Work Options for Women, and there will be specialty drink and food items. Call 303-825-6500 or visit www.thecornerofficedenver.com.

Aspen Meadows hosts a Turkey Day package through Sunday, November 27, with a discount on lodging plus dinner at Plato's. It costs $170 per night; call 800-452-4240.

Thursday, November 24:

The Ritz-Carlton, 1880 Curtis Street, presents its annual Ballroom Buffet Dinner, a classic buffet-style dinner with a balloon artist and a separate buffet for the kids. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free for kids under six, $30 for kids ages seven to twelve, and $75 for adults. Call 303-312-3800.

Chautauqua Dining Hall, 900 Baseline Road in Boulder, presents Thanksgiving at Chautauqua; enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner buffet at the picturesque dining hall. The buffet is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; call 303-440-3776 to make a reservation.

The Margarita, 7350 Pine Creek in Colorado Springs, hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner, a four-course feast featuring traditional fare as well as Margarita specialties. It runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $25 to $40; reservations are required. Call 719-598-8667.

Randolph's Restaurant and Bar, 1776 Grant Street, presents Thanksgiving Day Meals, featuring a brunch buffet and a sit-down dinner on Thanksgiving with all the holiday fare.
