Racines just started a five-week-long celebration of its thirtieth anniversary as 2013 came to a close. But it's the restaurant that will be doing the giving today: Stop in for a meal any time before 10 p.m. and Racines will donate 10 percent of your check to The Center, a local non-profit serving the LGBTQ community of Colorado for even long than Racines has been around.

Over the years, Racines has gained a reputation for being open to all, and connecting with the community through projects like Dining Out For Life and Project Angel Heart -- which the restaurant has been supporting since its inception. By donating 10 percent of today's sales to the Center, Racines is carrying on this tradition.

The Center runs LGBTQ youth and senior outreach programs, offers legal advocacy and support to the community, and is a major supporter of Denver's annual Pride parade and festivities. For more on the Center and its work within the Colorado, visit the non-profit's website.

And while you're at Racines, don't forget that through January 31, you can enter a contest to win a trip to Paris (or Racine, Wisconsin); the winner will be announced on February 1.
