Say auf Wiedersehen to Denver Oktoberfest this weekend. This weekend the Ballpark neighborhood will be full of rockin' polka music, semi-traditional German foods and beer, of course. The fun starts at 5 p.m. today and runs until 2 a.m., then it picks back up at 11 a.m. Saturday and continues to 2 a.m., and there's one last hurrah on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food/drink tickets are $6 for 1, 4 for $20, with VIP tickets $70-150. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5 Notorious P.I.G Chow down at the twelfth annual Pig Roast at Marczyk Fine Foods on East 17th Avenue -- where they will have slow-roasted Niman Ranch pork for nearly 24 hours. The feasting will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. (or until the food runs out). The hog will be served with Lillie's Q BBQ sauces as well as Marczyk's own Pablo Diablo's Little Taste o' Hell sauce -- and don't forget the homemade sides, which include baked beans, coleslaw, Pete's mom's potato salad, cornbread, drink and a cookie. A meal ticket is $14.99.

Pub Crawl Scavenger Scramble The CHUN (Capitol Hill United Neighborhood) pub crawl will take over a new area of town with its annual scavenger hunt -- the Bluebird district along East Colfax Avenue. Starting at 1 p.m., participants can enjoy a day of weirdness and booze at six local pubs. The festivities will begin at Goosetown Tavern , then continue to the R Bar, Annie's Cafe, 3014, Atomic Cowboy and Mezcal. Each destination will feature minute-to-win-it games, dancing, trivia and other point-valued activities for teams of two to eight people -- which are encouraged to get creative, because there will be a prize for best theme/costume. Tickets are $25 and get you a T-shirt, wrist band (which will qualify you for food and drink specials at participating locations), and free cover and appetizers at the after-party at Park House. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6 Moe's 5th Anniversary Revival Celebrate Moe's Original BBQ with 150 tons of smoked meat, $1 Breckenridge drafts and the musical sounds of Mountain Jam (a tribute to the Allman Brothers Band), Robby Peoples and the Bankwalkers, and VELCRO. 1515 Test Kitchen Dinner On the first Sunday of every month, 1515 Restaurant holds another installment in itsTest Kitchen Dinners Series. This installment features dishes using molecular gastronomy and sous-vide techniques; chef Garren Teich and Jonas Halstead will set up a demonstration table to demonstrate particular elements of some of the dishes and then hold a Q & A session.
