Do you feel a chill in the air? Jack Frost nipping at your nose?
Hard to imagine on 90-plus degree days in the middle of summer, but the Bull & Bush Pub and Brewery will be celebrating the holiday season all this week by pouring a new specialty beer each day, throwing a Christmas in July Beer Tasting Party on Wednesday and topping it all off with a "New Year's Eve" bash on Friday.
The Friday party -- complete with a countdown to midnight with the Legendary 4-Nikators (music starts at 9 p.m.; cover charge is $6.99) -- will mark the 39th anniversary of the Bull & Bush, which was founded in 1971 by twin brothers Dean and Dale Peterson. Dale's sons, David and Erik, now run it.
And Erik believes the beer list for the Wednesday event - which includes more than forty rare and vintage holiday brews -- may be the largest ever put together for a Christmas in July beer celebration. It's certainly one of the most amazing.
