MONDAY, OCTOBER 14
Frasca Food and Wine will continue its tour of vineyards around the world tonight, at a dinner that pairs vintages from Rudd Winery, located in Oakville, California, with Frasca's inventive Italian dishes.The four-course dinner is $50 per person with an optional $40 to 50 for three wine pairings; the restaurant is located at 1738 Pearl Street in Boulder. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15
Ready for some new fall flavors? Spice up your life by learning how to cook popular dishes from around the world at Stir Cooking School, which is offering a class om "Tastes From Around the world." The professional chefs will teach a three-hour, hands-on course on how to prepare pulled pork carnitas tacos with pickled red onion, queso fresco and cilantro (Mexican), spanakopita (Greek), chicken tikka massala (Indian), tom kha gai (Thai coconut soup) and nicoise salade (French). The class begins at 6:30 p.m. and is $75 per person; make reservations at stirtolearn.com.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16
Zink Kitchen +Bar, part of the Doubletree DTC, will host a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight in honor of Hilton Worldwides Global Week of Service. The Zink culinary team will provide appetizers; the evening will also include cocktails, wine, live music and asilent auction. All proceeds benefit the Zara Project, which provides meals to students and families in need. TAG, chef/partner Noah French and chef/owner Troy Guard will host the first Cirque de Dessert, a five-course dessert dinner with drink pairings that will offer a sneak peak at Sugarmill, the new bakery lounge opening in November. THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17 The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra has partnered with Blue Moon Brewing Company for "Symphony of Tastes," an evening of classical music and brews from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Rolling Hills Country Club, 15707 West 26th Avenue in Golden.
