A lot has changed since the Uptown Sampler Restaurant Crawl began crawling nearly thirty years ago, and today you can get a taste of the changes. The Uptown Sampler is celebrating its 27th year with a taste of 27 restaurants in Denver's Uptown neighborhood between 5 and 8:30 p.m.

For the 2014 Uptown Sampler, you can start sampling at one of five eateries along the district's restaurant row on 17th: Tavern Uptown, The District, Argyll Whiskey Beer, Ace Eat Serve or Tony P's.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door; for more information, including a list of participating restaurants and a map of the crawls destinations, visit uptownonthehill.org.

For information on dozens of culinary events around town, visit our online Food & Drink listings -- and if you have information for a culinary event you'd like included in our online calendar, send it to cafe@westword.com.
