Bombay Bowl closes its original location

Rather than pay a rent increase, Bombay Bowl has closed its original location at 12023 East Arapahoe Road in Centennial. The fast-casual curry house had opened there in 2009 and introduced a second spot at 575 Lincoln Street earlier this year.

"Business is great, especially at the Lincoln location," explains general manager Bob Hennemann. "But the raise in rent at the other location was too much; it didn't make sense to stay there."

Plans are already under way to open a new Bombay Bowl; we'll keep you posted on where it lands.
