Depending on the day, there will be $5 bottles of wine (!), $5 off entrees, $5 off appetizers, $5 infusions (try the lychee), $5 bowls of pho and, perhaps most classy: $5 for five PBRs.
In addition, Nguyen will also serve a five-course prix fixe meal for $50.
Here are the details on the special, which coincides with Harvest Week:
First: Gazpacho with sorbet trio of cucumber, bell pepper and tomatoSecond: Jasmine tea smoked salmon with an apple and celery root sald with crème fraiche
Third: Five-spice laquered quail with home-grown wilted chrysanthemum, canteloupe carpacchio, shaved rhubarb salad and a Chinese sausage vinaigrette
Fourth: Telicherry peppercorn-crusted filet with Thai chili and sweet corn soufflé and garlic sauteed water spinach and that's served with a demi-glace
Fifth: Haiga rice peach risotto with a housemade ricotta and star anise honey
For $25 more, the restaurant will pair each course with a select cocktail or glass of wine:
