Last week, Ezra Mamuth and Nate Barnett were giddy with excitement, eagerly anticipating the unveiling of Stick it to Me, a truck that'll specialize in gourmet food on a stick, at this Friday's tacky sweater party at the Atomic Cowboy, 3237 East Colfax Avenue.

But the truck launch, unfortunately, has been delayed a week.

Barnett let us know this morning that the postponed opening is due to a last-minute construction issue and a scheduling debacle with the health inspector. They should get the green light next Wednesday, though, and then they'll be ready to hit the pavement.

And once they know where they'll unveil their mobile kitchen, we'll post an update on Cafe Society. In the meantime, you can follow Stick it to Me's progress on Facebook.
