It's supposed to snow tomorrow, but it's a balmy 75 degrees today, and that makes us antsy to go out and socialize -- and maybe score some digits to make a date.

In Best of Denver 2011, we named Common Grounds the Best Coffeehouse for Finding a Date thanks to the crowd and convivial atmosphere. And on Fridays, we've been divulging spots around town that are especially conducive to meeting new people. Lola made our list for the particularly excellent happy hour atmosphere, and we called out the adult spelling bees at Interstate Kitchen & Bar and Hanson's Grill & Tavern as activities that might land you a word nerd match.

This Friday, though, we think you should head over to Great Divide Brewing.

The tap room at the brewery starts filling with revelers even before most people are off of work, and on a day like today, that group is sure to spill onto the downtown patio, where Basic Kneads will be turning out wood-fired pizzas from 4 p.m. on. The joint always operates under a low-key house party-like atmosphere, which means striking up conversation with someone cute at the next table is no problem.

Buy her a beer when her samples run out, impress him with your beer knowledge and bam -- you're on your way to romance. You could also, uh, try to flirt with the attractive staff; after all, Great Divide beer jockey Colin Ferguson was just rated one of the top 20 most eligible bachelors in all of craft beer.

And if pickings are slim there? We see plenty of attractive single-ites out at nearby haunts, including Star Bar and Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs.
