Kick it! Local photographer Terry "The Rat" Ratzlaff -- best known for his snowboarding and action sports photography -- is one of ten featured artists at tonight's 1st annual Sole Food art show presented by Division West at Black Book Gallery, 555 Santa Fe Drive, from 6 p.m. to midnight. Ratzlaff and other artists including Andrew Heard, Detour, The Signtologist and Captain Safety were each charged with decorating a pair of New Balance sneakers for the show; their artwork will be sold tonight to benefit Colorado UpLift and its programs for urban youth. Step to it! Break in those arty new kicks at Red Rocks Amphitheater on Saturday morning for Fitness on the Rocks, where Alexander Chapman, Hong Hau Chapman, Jessica David Beal, Joe Hendricks and a dozen other local fitness trainers will be whipping everyone into shape with free "exercise concerts" at 8:30 a.m. and again at 10 a.m., in conjunction with this weekend's Global Dance Festival. Get dirty! Feeling the burn yet? Winter Park is hosting Mountain Bike Capital USA on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with bike demos from Yeti, Trek and Specialized, plus free guided tours around town and at the resort. It's been raining like nobody's business up there, so be prepared for a mud bath. Howl! Saturday night's 19th annual Kaiser Permanente Moonlight Classic is a late-night 10-mile cycling cruise ride that's become one of Denver's most beloved traditions (registrations $40 for adults, $35 for seniors and $25 for children under 12). Start and finish at the State Capitol: The Family Wave starts at 10:30 p.m., followed by a more raucous "Gonzo Wave" at 11: 30 p.m. Afterwards, follow everybody else to the after-party. Storm the Fort! And, just in case those sneakers still have some art left in them after all that, don't miss the New Belgium Brewing Urban Assault Ride in Fort Collins on Sunday. "The biggest bicycle scavenger hunt series in the nation" starts at 9 a.m. at the New Belgium mothership, 500 Linden Street ($120 per two-person team, no race-day registration, so make sure to get your paperwork in by Saturday night).
