In advance of that New York run, as the Devils' Cole Schneider told Westword's Adam Goldstein last month, the Devils changed up the show a little bit, per the New Victory's request: "Normally, we juggle chainsaws, bowling balls and eggs. They had some questions about permitting that trick, so we came up with something else ... We're building a huge finale contraption -- a juggling machine -- that is going to trump our circus wagon. For people who have seen the show and seen the circus wagon, this is three times bigger and way more involved. It's really crazy."
We can't wait. For tonight's show at 8 p.m. at Monfort Concert Hall (701 10th Avenue in Greeley), it's not certain whether the group will be deploying the old-school chainsaws or the updated, juggling-machine-based finale, but either way, it's going to be pretty awesome. Tickets run $12 and, if you live in Denver, there'll be some gas money involved, too -- but take a look at that video above. Is there any doubt it'll be worth every penny?
