In a perfect world, firefighters would not wear those heavy, shapeless jackets they wear when fighting fires -- they would be doing it shirtless, that all might see their turgid pectoral muscles and washboard abs as they glisten and twitch with the exertion of heroes' work. But this is not a perfect world, and as such, our only opportunity to see firefighters in all their shirtless glory is generally in calendar form. Tonight, however, you can see them in person 2012 Colorado Firefighter Debut, where this year's fifteen featured firefighters (long story) will strut their stuff on the runway just for you and one billion other delirious women. Here's a little taste of what's in store: It's an imposing hammer he's holding there, but Brian Thorngate's soulful gaze suggests he'll pound you with it gently. Though the tattoo on his chest reads "always," Gary Riggins just can't stay mad at you for long. You may break La Don Williams' heart, but he will break your will. And he will break it so, so sweetly. Oh God, so sweetly. Molly Meehan holds the jaws of life in multiple senses. Every day, Neal Martin works his delts by putting a bowling ball into his hat. Is holding that spear tiring you out, Todd Godek? Don't worry, baby, we'll hold it for you.
