Bring Your Own Records Party at Lost Lake (Wednesday) Tired of lame DJs who never play the hits you wanna hear? Good news: Westword MasterMind Sarah Slater's BYO Records party is back. At this fun even, you -- and anyone else with records -- can step up to the turntables as the DJ. Just bring three to five songs on vinyl, sign up when you get there, and hear your favorites through the P.A. It's sure to be a DJ night full of all kinds of diverse music choices that you normally don't get to hear in a bar.
Together, Now at the Philip J. Steele Gallery (Thursday, free) Twice a year, the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design's faculty members exhibit their own work in a show that is always full of interesting art. This season's, entitled Together, Now, will feature 32 faculty members from all over the college. Go to the opening reception tonight to see what they have to offer and -- and, with any luck, enjoy some free refreshments.
