The new Arvada Skate Park took Best of Denver 2012 Best Skate Park honors last month, and the more time we spend there, the more we love it. This edit from local filmmaker Tristan Minton, of Royal Stain Design, which features 303 Boards team rider David Reyes and The Denver Shop team riders Ryan Lybarger and Josh Murphy, helps illustrate why:

The park, at 13150 West 72nd Avenue in Arvada, was designed and built by Team Pain, the same crew responsible for Northglenn's Don Anema Memorial Skatepark, the Roxborough Skate Park (our Best of Denver 2010 Best Skate Park winner), the Memorial Skate Park in Colorado Springs (our 2009 Best Skate Park pick), and parks in Silverthorne, Lafayette, Steamboat Springs, Breckenridge and Salida.

For more on the Arvada Skate Park, check out the photos and specs at TeamPain.com. For regular local skate scene dispatches from Tristan Minton and Royal Stain, subscribe to Minton's Royal Stain YouTube channel.
