Do you think you have psychic abilities but have never been sure how to test them? Both newbies and those experienced in the psychic realm are invited to Isis Books and Gifts for a gathering on all things relating to the spirit medium at this evening social. Local experts from the Aspen Program for Psychic Development will be on hand to answer questions. The event is free, but make sure to register via the center's website prior to arriving.

Rocky Mountain Weavers Annual Sale at Englewood Civic Center (Thursda-Saturday) This annual showcase of textile pieces from fiber arts crafters around the state creates a pop-up marketplace for early holiday gift-shopping. But along with featuring finished handmade items, this expo also serves as a great place to find the best in materials for weaving, crocheting, felting, knitting and more.

Live Anthologies Volume 1: Spirits at Paris on the Platte (Thursday) Get in the mood for Halloween with Live Anthologies, a new series from local traveling theater purveyors Horse & Cart. The work of Denver-centric playwrights and authors like Adam E. Douglas, Katherine Jamieson and Sean Paul Mahoney is brought to life by actors in an intimate setting. The show is free, but be sure to order some of Paris on the Platte's coffee drinks and small plates while enjoying never-before-seen stories told live.
