Men in fedoras and women in pencil skirts took over the Boulder County Airport Saturday night for the fifth annual 1940s Era World War II Ball. Guests danced the night away to '40s swing music as vintage airplanes from the period helped set the mood. To top the night off, guests even competed in a pin-up contest.

Westword photographer Christopher Morgan had no problem finding people willing to pose for a quick snapshot in their best '40s fashions. To see all of the photos, visit the 1940s WWII Era Ball slide show, and keep reading for a few highlights.
