In a post yesterday, onetime Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission sponsor Jeff Peckman expressed disappointment that the White House didn't come clean about ET info in its possession.

But one reader thinks too many UFOlogists are conditioned to reject anything that doesn't support their views.

Rjmail writes:

The UFO people asked for the truth from the government. They don't want the truth: they want "their" truth. Many of these people say what they know is confirmed by science. The difference between them and science, is that science can change its mind based on new facts. The people just got some new facts, and will not change their mind. So what they know is not based on science: it is just a belief system or cult.
