Reader: "Westweed" is beating the pot story to death

The Denver Department of Excise and Licenses recently posted a list of fourteen stores in town that are now fully licensed to sell recreational marijuana on January 1. It's a story that has been dominating the news in Westword and in other media outlets around town and around the country, but commenter Kevon TheBruce Lei is already over it. In fact, he took time to post the following missive on Facebook in response to our post, "Marijuana: Fourteen Denver stores and other Colorado spots that could sell pot January 1."

Westword should just change your name to Westweed if that's all you're going to report on, day in & day out! Can't wait til the hype dies down, but then again, you'll just find something else to beat to death. What's next? Top 10 places for stoner munchies? We've graduated, maybe you should too!
