Fort Collins Police Services arrested two Fort Collins men Sunday morning after a three hour standoff with patrol officers and the SWAT Team.The incident began around 2:25 a.m. when police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Cypress Drive. Upon arrival, officers determined that a man had threatened a nearby neighbor with a firearm. When responding officers attempted to contact the armed suspect, he and other occupants of the target residence refused to come out of the house or communicate with police.
The Fort Collins Police Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) arrived on scene around 3:50 a.m. and began negotiations with occupants of the home. Ultimately, the SWAT Team launched gas munitions into the residence, forcing seven individuals to exit the home. A subsequent search of the house by SWAT resulted in the arrest of two primary suspects around 6:00 a.m.

Both men were booked into the Larimer County Detention Center.
There were no injuries to the suspects or officers during the incident.
