The twosome that ransacked the Chronic Therapy grow house on North Claude Court did a little better for themselves. But they were also caught on camera smiling hazily as they made off with an estimated $12,500 worth of plants. Get details and see more photos below.
According to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, the incident took place at 12:59 a.m. on April 23.Given that their target was a grow house, the suspects presumably understood that they wouldn't find finished marijuana on hand. As a result, they can be seen grabbing plants.
Did they realize that such plants require a blend of expertise and tender loving care if they're to remain alive and flourishing? Or that cultivation calls for plenty of skill as well? Hard to say -- but their decision not to bother disguising themselves despite the presence of surveillance devices doesn't speak to their wisdom. If you recognize either of these lugs, you're encouraged to phone Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered in the case.
