. With that in mind, he's traveling the state in search of backing even in places where Democrats are often treated like Communist sympathizers -- like, for instance, Elbert County. During his visit there yesterday, he noted that you can "swing a dead cat" and hit a Democrat in Denver, but to affiliate with the party in Elbert takes "a lot of cojones, a lot of chutzpah."
