Dunkin' Donuts returned to the Denver area over the past year, opening stores from Denver International Airport to Edgewater, Boulder to Colorado Springs. Fans of the chain on the East Coast have welcomed Dunkin' with open arms (and mouths, and wallets), while others just wish they'd go home. Here's just a taste of the comments that resulted from our post about the best/worst things Dunkin' Donuts has done.
I am a big fan. We used to look forward to going back East just to get some. So glad they opened a store by Sloan's Lake.
They tore down my KFC for that place!
But Paul may have a more legitimate lament:
Sad to see Johnny's Diner gone and this in its place.
What other local spots have been replaced by national chains -- Dunkin' or not?
