Join authors Kristen and Robert Autobee at the Bookbar as they discuss their new book, Lost Restaurants of Denver, at 7 p.m. tonight. Hear tales of Denver's rich restaurant history, from mining camp bakeries to fine French dining at Delmonico of the West. Admission is free; they'll be selling copies for $19.99. Find out more here.
Head to Museo de las Americas at 5 p.m. for a Spanish Happy Hour featuring owner/tequilero Carlos Gonzalez of Tequila Proximus. Tickets are $5, or $3 for Museo members, and are available at the door.

Mizuna will host Wine Class Series: Rocks, Dirt, Sun, Grapes - Botrytis Magic at noon today. In this series, guests explore the effect of where wine is grown and how wine tastes by examining multiple examples of the same grape, made in a similar style, but on vastly different soil structures; this class installment will discuss Botrytis and late harvest wines from Sauternes and South Australia. Tuition is $50 and includes light snacks, wine and gratuity.
Join Rosa Linda's Mexican Cafe as it celebrates thirty years in business with $1.85 bean burritos smothered in red or green chile, smothered shredded beef and chicken burritos for $ 2.75, $3 bottled beers, and $4 house Margaritas.

The Denver Botanic Gardens will be holding a very sweet workshop for the whole family today. Children and families can explore the science of making ice cream by creating their very own batch of homemade ice cream, and investigating the tropical plants that make it such a tasty treat. The workshop runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and costs $29 for an adult/child combo and $15 for additional registrants.
