The Post Brewing Co. in Lafayette is seeking entries into its second annual Lil’ Brewer Buddy Homebrew Competition, which gives the winner a chance to brew his or her beer at the Post with head brewer Bryan Selders and have it served on tap there. The panel of judges will include Selders and last year's winners, Nick Anderson and beer author Dan Rabin. “Beers will be judged on technical merit as it pertains to the beer being free of off flavors, good clarity, good foam stability, proper carbonation, etc. Beyond that, other purely subjective criteria are judged like 'do we like the beer?', 'is the flavor good?', 'am I likely to want another?' This is  style-guideline, category-free competition, so entrants are encouraged to go crazy. Just make sure it's awesome," the brewery says. To enter, drop off two bottles of your best homebrew at The Post by April 15 at 2 p.m. For all the details and more information, call 303-593-2066 or visit: www.postbrewing.com/homebrewers-competition.
