Back in November 2013, 9News' Kyle Clark became a hero on Buzzfeed and Reddit for his rant about viewers sending the station so many photos of snowy patios and backyards instead of actually venturing beyond their doors.

Just over a year later, the station for which Clark toils seems to have turned its back on his noble mission.

Even though the station has just posted a cheeky list featuring a reference to being "publicly mocked on 9News" for snaps of outdoor furniture featuring this image....
...the latest collection of user-submitted photos on its home page sports oodles of snowy-patio portraits.

Somewhere, Kyle Clark is dying inside just a little.
