The Colorado Children's Caucus wants to talk to marijuana and growing expos want you to be ready for spring after this week with several opportunities to learn from experts.
That's only one of the items in this week's cannabis calendar.
Today at noon, the Colorado Children's Caucus will discuss the dangers children face since recreational legalization with Senators Linda Newell and Kevin Lundberg and State Representatives Jonathan Singer and Janak Joshi in room 356 at the State Capitol Building. The ninety-minute presentation, "Marijuana, Children, and Families," will cover topics such as prenatal marijuana exposure, unintentional ingestion by children, parenting under the influence and discussions and interventions with children. Those looking for a more intimate setting instead of the CannaGrow Expo or anyone with other plans for the weekend, should be sure to to check out the food, cocktails and live music at one of Grow Big Supply's weekly industry mixers at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, at Grow Big Supply, located at 4501 Wynkoop Street. Vendors and soil experts will be on hand to answer questions.
The CannaGrow Expo will finally arrive on Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. The two-day event will be held at the EXDO Event Center and features ten different classes on growing led by experts such as Kyle Kushman and Scott Reach.
