Many of Denver's fine-dining establishments have off-the-menu dishes they'll make for regulars. But even more lowbrow spots have on-request deals. If you ask — nicely — for " The Cure Burger" at a Red Robin in metro Denver, for example, your server will deliver a fire-grilled patty topped with chili, Cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, mushrooms and a sunny-side up egg on a sesame seed bun, served with the chain's Bottomless Steak Fries. The deliciously gloppy burger is $11.99. The combo was created by Red Robin’s culinary team and first made available from January 1 through January 7; it's being brought back for a special, secret  St. Patrick’s Day weekend deal in Denver, Cleveland, Phoenix, West Palm Beach and Baltimore.

Red Robin, which is based in Englewood, has over 400 company-owned Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, another hundred franchised restaurants and seven Red Robin Burger Works, so there are plenty of spots where you can stop for sustenance if you party too hard over St. Patrick's Day weekend and need a Cure.

For the record, Red Robin also offers "the single unhealthiest meal," according to the Center for Science in the Public Interest. Last year the center found that Red Robin's "Monster"-sized A.1. Peppercorn burger, combined with Bottomless Steak Fries and a Monster Salted Caramel Milkshake, totaled  3,540 calories.
