As a white man, I feel appreciated every time I go into a department store and don't get followed around by the staff. As a white man, I feel appreciated knowing that I'm not going to be beaten by the police because of the color of my skin. As a white man, I feel appreciated by the injustice of me receiving more money for the same work as my peers and friends who might be a different color than me. I do not need "white appreciation day." It's just beyond stupid.
