Although Monday's holiday created a short work week, you still may  need a little help getting through the mid-week slump. A quartet of boozy and delicious events today should help you get into the right mood to coast to the weekend.

Bar 1, the standing-room-only area at Green Russell, will be taken over by the Denver Botanic Gardens and turned into a plant sanctuary for this evening's pop-up event. Plants will be for sale, and the bar will serve garden-inspired beverages. For more information, call the bar at 303-893-6505.

Firenze a Tavola will be hosting a community table dinner at 6:30 p.m. devoted to those amazing stuffed pasta pockets: ravioli. The five-course menu will feature dishes like ravioli Mugellani, chocolate-filled ravioli and more. Dinner is $33; make your reservations here.

Emily Papach, one of only 21 female Master Sommeliers in the U.S., will lead a special wine dinner at 1515 Restaurant at 6 p.m. The four-course meal is $65, and all the guests will be entered into a drawing to win a 1.5 liter bottle of Cambria wine. For reservations, call the restaurant at 303-571-0011.

Frasca Food and Wine will trade wine for beer at today's Craft Beer Series dinner, with Crooked Stave the guest of honor. The fun begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $160; call Frasca at 303-442-0608.
