Welcome to DISH, now with Tacolandia! Mexican food flavors so much of Colorado’s culinary tradition. Recognizing that, we've added a special feature to this year's DISH, our 21st annual celebration of Denver’s food and drink scene. Set for Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 20 (with VIP admission at 11 a.m.), DISH will feature the same format that has made the event so popular with fans of food and fun, with more than forty of Westword writers’ and readers’ favorite restaurants offering samples of their signature dishes. The lineup so far includes Adelitas, Americatus, Angelo's Taverna, Azucar Bakery, Biju's Little Curry Shop, Biker Jim's, City, O' City, Cracovia, El Taco de Mexico, Epernay Lounge, Fooducopia, Frijoles Colorado Cuban Cafe, Glazed & Confuzed, Golden Moon Speakeasy, Grateful Bread Company, Interstate Kitchen & Bar, Jimmy's Urban Bar & Grill, Megenagna Ethiopian, The Kitchen Next Door, Little Man Ice Cream, Long I Pie Shop, Milk and Cake, the Nickel, the Noshery, Patxi's Pizza, the Real Dill, Revolution in the Kitchen, Stoney's Bar and Grill and Table 6 — with more to come.
That’s already plenty to chew on, but this year we’re also introducing Tacolandia, an area that will celebrate the taste of this town's street tacos. In Tacolandia, you’ll be able to take a quick trip to more exotic climes before wandering back to all the din and deliciousness of DISH.
That deliciousness also extends to wine, beer and liquor samples, all included with the price of admission. And those prices are about to go up: At 10 a.m. today, August 7, the price for general admission will go up from $30 to $40, and the price for VIP (which gets you in the door at 11 a.m. for ninety extra minutes of dining and drinking) from $65 to $75. Get your tickets now on our DISH website! (And use the promo code denverdish for an additional $5 off your ticket.)
